Action plan and annual report

The Ombudsman also draws up an annual action plan, which describes the main emphases of the work ahead and how they relate to the activities of various administrative sectors. The action plan is also given to the government for information purposes.

The Ombudsman issues an annual report to the government on the work of the Ombudsman's office. The report also contains an assessment of developments in the rights and situation of children, and of the need for legislative reforms. The annual report is issued at the end of each March and covers the previous year.
