Office of the Ombudsman for Children


The office of the Ombudsman for Children is located in Jyväskylä. The regional service unit of the West Finland State Provincial Office operates from the same premises, which is at the Wanha Lääni offices, Vaasankatu 2.

The office can make agreements on cooperation with other interest groups, draw on outside procurement and recruit high-school and other interns.

The office of the Ombudsman for Children has a permanent staff of five people: the Ombudsman, a lawyer, two senior officers and a secretary.
