Report to Parliament by the Ombudsman for Children

Every four years, the Ombudsman for Children presents the Finnish Parliament with a report concerning matters related to the Ombudsman’s area of responsibility. The Report to Parliament assesses the status of children and the implementation of their rights in Finland during the reporting period, as well as the relationship between Finnish legislation and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

In addition, the Ombudsman for Children submits an annual report to the Government each year.
